One of the most exciting things about wedding planning is finding the wedding venue. When it comes to wedding venues, the possibilities are endless. So, to help you find the perfect wedding venue without the added stress, here is a list of possible venues you might be interested in:
Hotels
Hotels are the most common choice for wedding venue. One of the major reasons for this is the convenience factor. Hotels already have their own in-house caterer, which can be more affordable than hiring a third party caterer. Another great thing about hotels is that they very convenient for guests in terms of parking and accommodation. It is very crucial that your wedding venue has a parking lot that will have enough space for your number of guests. Hotels have an experienced staff that you can always rely on. They can help you with almost any of your needs. Most hotels also have their own bridal car that may be part of their wedding package. What more can you ask for?
Golf Courses
A golf course can be a wonderful wedding venue for a small, intimate wedding. If you’re planning on inviting just a few of your friends and family, it would be nicer to hold the wedding outdoors. Of course, you will have to take the weather and the season into consideration. The rain is greatest enemy of outdoor weddings, so be sure to get married on a sunny day. The good thing about golf clubs is that it provides a lovely layout for your photos. With lots of greenery and beautiful nature, you will surely have a blast.
Museums or Art Galleries
This may be an unusual choice for a wedding venue, but it is actually a great choice. Museums have a huge space and are filled with artwork, which are great for wedding photos. The only problem is, not all museums have a wedding license. Couples should contact the museum or art gallery months before their wedding date to ensure that they can actually use the place for their wedding.
Restaurants or Pubs
This may not be a romantic place for some people, but it can still be a good choice for a wedding reception. This is perfect for a wedding with only a few guests. Restaurants or pubs tend to be the most affordable wedding venue option, as you only need to pay for the food and drink.

To shave is a personal choice. There is no medical or scientific proof that shows how shaving can more proper or hygienic. Despite this, a lot of women still prefer shaving, mainly for aesthetic purposes. Shaving is especially important during special occasions, like on your wedding. It’s important to have smooth, beautiful-looking skin on your wedding. With great skin, your wedding photos will surely look amazing!
While waxing and laser hair removal are starting to become popular nowadays, shaving still continues to be the least expensive form of hair removal. Every woman knows that shaving is not at all easy. When done the wrong way, we get a rash or even a cut. So, to help you avoid such mistakes, here are 10 shaving tips you might want to read:
1. It is crucial that you shave on wet skin. Before shaving, make sure that your skin is damp. Shaving on dry skin clogs the razor with dead skin and may be a cause for nicks and razor burns.
2. Remember to use shaving foam. Shaving foam for men and for women are actually the same, except perhaps for the scent.
3. There are so many razors available on the market, so you will have to experiment to find the perfect one for you. Ask your friends for recommendations. Also, find a razor with lubricated strips and spring-mounted multiple blades. As for me, my favorite razor is the Gillette Venus Vibrance Soothing Vibrations Razor for Women.
4. Make sure to change razors regularly. A dull blade causes nicks and cuts, so once you notice your blade isn’t too sharp anymore, buy a new one.
5. You may think it’s okay, but borrowing your guy’s razor isn’t a good idea. Men’s hair is coarser and thicker, which will dull a blade. Or worse, you could get Hepatitis C from fresh blood on a razor.
6. Make sure to shave upwards, as the hair on your legs grown downwards.
7. Don’t forget to exfoliate. Exfoliating rejuvenates your skin and gets rid of dead skin cells. Use a dry brush or exfoliating gloves before taking a shower.
8. After you have finished shaving, make sure to apply moisturizer. Some people oil instead of moisturizer, depending on the season or weather. Your legs have a few oil glands, which makes it more prone to dryness.
9. Avoid cutting yourself by going slow.
10. Some people shave everyday, while others do it every ten days. How often you shave depends on you and of course, the pace your hair growth.

Part 6 of the Civil Registration Act 2007 states that any person who intends to marry in Ireland, whether an Irish citizen or not, must get a Marriage Registration Form (MRF) from a Registrar. Also, whoever is solemnising the marriage must be on the Register of Solemnisers. Before being given a Marriage Registration Form, the couple must fulfill a three-month notification to the Registrar.
Venues
The civil ceremony must be held either in the office of a Registrar of Civil Marriages or in a different venue that is approved by a Registrar. A Registrar must also be available to solemnise the marriage.
Couples who chose to marry in a venue outside of the Registry Office should contact the Registry Office of the district where the venue is located and have the venue approved by the Registrar. Before being approved, a registrar may inspect the ceremony site.
Places like private homes or marquees may be unacceptable. It is important that the couple must read the Guidelines for Marriage Venues to learn more about how to choose their wedding venue. Couples should also present their wedding venue to a Registrar well in advance of their wedding date to avoid unnecessary worries, especially if their chosen venue doesn’t get approved.
The couple must also be aware that there will be an extra fee if they would like to have a civil ceremony outside the Registry Office.
Marriage Registration Form
After fulfilling the three-month notification, the Registrar will give a Marriage Registration Form to the couple. The MRF permits the couple to get married. The couple should then give the MRF to the Registrar who will be solemnising their marriage before the wedding ceremony.
The couple, their two witnesses and the Registrar should fill out the MRF after the wedding ceremony. The Registrar will be the one to register the marriage.
Marriage Ceremony
A Registrar who is on the Register of Solemnisers must solemnize the marriage ceremony. There must be at least two witness, aged 18 or over, during the ceremony. In the ceremony, the couple should declare that 1) they do not know of any impediment to the marriage 2) that they accept each other as husband and wife.
Rules
If the couple is getting married through a civil ceremony, whether in a Registry Office or an approved wedding venue, they should approach the Registrar of Civil Marriages for the district where they intend to marry so as to get information on how to proceed. The couple is not required to live or reside in the district they have chosen to get married in.

Making a list of wedding guests can be a pretty daunting task. The reason why it’s quite tough is that your guest list is one of the most important things you need to do first before planning the other details of your wedding. The number of your guests has a huge effect towards the venue, food and invitations you need to prepare for your big day. If you’re the type who has heaps of friends, it is inevitable to limit the number of people who can come to your wedding. To help you with this dilemma, here are some tips you may want to read:
Categories of Wedding Guests
Immediate Family Extended Family High School Friends College/Grad School Friends Childhood Friends Co-Workers Hobby/Activity Friends- these are the people you usually play or do activities with aside from your close friends Children of all of the above (maybe)
Decision Making
Below are some common ways or styles that can help you decide whom to invite. Each style comes with its advantages and disadvantages.
Choose only those whom you have seen in the last year
Pros:
It reduces a big number of potential guests in one swoop
It keeps you from inviting those who have a bug chance of not being able to go to your wedding
Cons:
Some of your good friends living out of town or abroad that you haven’t seen in a while may actually fly or back home to go to your wedding.
The guest list may turn out to be a ‘the most convenient people’ list, rather than an ‘important people’ list.
Give the bride, groom and parents an equal number of spots for their guests.
Pros:
It makes things balanced and fair among the bride, groom and parents.
It makes the parents feel respected and thankful for being given a chance to also invite those whom they would like to go to the wedding.
Con:
The groom, bride or stakeholder may have more friends than the other. This may give one person the stressful task of having to not invite some special people in his/her life just because there’s no more space left.
Would you invite that person to your home for dinner?
Pros:
This can really help you discern whether you just want them to fill in the space and make your wedding feel celebratory or whether this person is really dear to you.
It makes you realise that your wedding is a very important part of your life and that the people you invite are the ones whom you really want to share that experience with.
Cons:
This question may not be applicable to other people. There are those who are dear to you but are not the type whom you would invite over for dinner.
Your parents may want to invite their friends to your wedding.

Getting married is one of the most life changing decisions we make in our lives. Preparing for our wedding day can be fun, but there are some aspects in wedding planning that may be a bit stressful. A couple of which is the legalities and paperwork that we need to do in order to be officially married. Just like any other country, Ireland has its own requirements and procedures for marriage. If you are an Irish citizen or a foreign resident of Ireland intending to marry in the country, there are some requirements and procedures that you need to submit and abide.
Requirements for Marriage
One of the most important requirements for marriage in Ireland is that you must be at least 18 years old. However, there are special circumstances where you may be able to be exempt from the age requirement. One or both parties under 18 must secure a Court Exemption Order allowing them to get married. The court will require you to prove that:
* There are good reasons for your application * The granting of a Court Exemption Order is in the best interests of the parties who intend to marry
If you are seeking for a Court Exemption Order, you must contact either Circuit Family Court or the High Court for more details and information on how to proceed.
Another important requirement is that you must have to the capacity to marry. You should not be forced into marriage and you should understand what marriage means.
Notification Requirements for Marriage
Anyone who intends to get married in Ireland, whether an Irish citizen or not, must give a three-month notification before the wedding. The notification must be presented and to any Registrar in person by the parties involved.
Legal Ways of Getting Married
You can legally get married either through a religious ceremony or civil ceremony. If the couple does not have the same religion, it is recommended that they ask the guidance of the relevant clergy to help them go about with their wedding ceremony.
The registration process is the same regardless of what type of ceremony you would like to have. After the three-month notification, the Registrar will give a Marriage Registration Form to the couple. This form authorises them to get married. They are then supposed to give the MRF to whoever is solemnising their marriage. After the wedding ceremony, the MRF must be completed and then given to the Registrar in order for the marriage to be officially registered.
