4333387723 7aa8707c3a m Even Our Wedding Knife Matched Our Theme!

I decided, after looking at many wedding suggestions, to have a themed ceremony and reception party. Now the decision was which theme to use. It sounded like a lot of fun to have a country western themed wedding. I thought maybe we could have an old fashioned barn dance at the reception. Then there was the seasonal wedding themes, and since we were getting married in the summer, I thought about a beach wedding. We could have a great time, swimming, partying on shore and watching a gorgeous sunset in the background. There were a lot of themed weddings and receptions to consider. There were all kinds of accessories and supplies for themed weddings, from decorations to a gorgeous wedding cake knife set. With all the themed wedding suggestions they had, I decided to go with the gorgeous fairytale wedding.

Now it was time to look for the fairytale themed accessories and supplies I needed for the theme I chose. First I ordered the lovely wedding invitations for our wedding guests. After that I went on to the wedding décor and the other accessories I would need. I wanted a wedding fit for Cinderella. First I needed to get the decorations I wanted to use in the church. Tulle swags were draped from each row of pews with a bow of satin pinned on each end. Tall vases filled with flowers were all around the altar, and tapered candles in fairytale holders were place on the sides of the unity candle.

As our guests entered the church they signed their names in our fairytale themed guestbook, which was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have dreamed a more perfect fairytale ceremony than the one I had. The flower girl and ring boy did a wonderful job at the wedding ceremony and really looked elegant in their wedding attire. We took a carriage ride to the reception, just like Cinderella and her Prince left their ceremony.

The reception hall was really beautiful with all the lovely flowers everywhere and the lovely tables all set up with crystal and silver. Every table in the reception hall had gorgeous crystal champagne flutes with decorated stems to go with our storybook theme. I found these very exquisite castles to use as place card holders on the reception tables. I also got the idea to purchase little carriage favor boxes and fill them with candies for each guest at their tables.

All the reception tables looked elegant, but the wedding table of the bride and groom outshined them all. It had all the elegance of a king and queen. Our cake of five gorgeous tiers, with a fairytale wedding topper, sat at the end of our wedding table on a smaller table. They have everything where I bought our reception supplies, even the perfect wedding cake topper in a storybook theme for our gorgeous cake. There was even a storybook wedding cake knife with lovely designs on the handle. I really liked the wedding knife, but the wedding knife set with the server was what I decided on. The knife set just added to the décor of our wedding cake and topper.

After we were toasted with our lovely crystal champagne flutes, it was time for the bride and groom to have their first dance together as man and wife. We danced to our favorite song, “I Swear” by all for one. After our song was over, couples filled the dance floor, for the next song. I’m glad I bought the gorgeous fairytale photo album to store my wedding pictures in, because I’m going to have quite a few of them to treasure. Many of our friends and family commented on what lovely storybook favors we had given them as gifts.

Our wedding and reception was truly unbelievable and I know now that fairytales can come true.

15327802 c550bc1d3b m Choosing The Perfect Theme For Your Wedding

One of the easiest ways to make a wedding memorable is to have a theme. Themes can be humorous, cultural, seasonal, venue-inspired or downright crazy but one thing they do is make your wedding unique and unforgettable. This is because although themes may be alike, each person’s interpretation of the theme is different.

When choosing a theme, you should consider two things; one is accessibility of resources and the other one is accessibility of materials. Accessibility of resources suggests the cost of implementing a theme. Having a castle wedding would probably require you to rent one and this is very expensive as well as it might require you to have your wedding in another place or country. Accessibility of material is referring to the decorating materials for your theme. A snow wedding in spring will require creating snow which is difficult and costly.

Here are a few examples of wedding themes:
- Seasonal themes – This is based on the four seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter. If an autumn wedding is chosen then decor such as maple leaves are used as well as honey and golden colors are used for other decors. Spring wedding would warrant lots of flowers. Sunset wedding also falls into this category as the wedding will be held during sunset especially the exchange of vows.

- Venue-inspired themes. This is the kind of wedding the uses the venue as the theme. Such themes are the beach wedding, castle wedding and garden wedding.

- Cultural themes. Themes based on cultural themes are quite popular too. This is especially true for cross-cultural marriages. It is even more interesting when mixed culture is showcased in these wedding. Examples of cultural themes are Indian wedding, Scottish wedding or Chinese wedding.

- Humorous themes – This is the theme that will bring out fun and humor for the wedding. It could be anything from fancy dress such as the Retro theme, The Seventies, Halloween, Medieval Times and The Wild West.

- Color themes. Color themed wedding can be interesting as it is up to one’s creativity to use the chose color or colors. Themes like Goth or psychedelic are derived from color theme wedding.

- Extreme weddings. Extereme weddings are gaining popularity these days and usually, those who do opt for them will make it in the news. These are the types of weddings that adventurous and outdoor type of couple would go for and examples of them are underwater weddings, bungee-jumping points or mid-air weddings.

The success of any chosen theme greatly depends on the creativity of the couples. You should make the theme come to life by using the right materials to create the accurate atmosphere. You must be willing to improvise to make things happen. For instance, if you can’t paint the walls of the venue, try using disposable wall paper. Be sure to seek permission from owner before you start any alteration.

To choose a wedding theme and to be able to carry it out with conviction is a great task. Therefore, it is always best to have a theme that is personal to you and your spouse. Some ways you can decide on the wedding theme you want is to look at your lifestyles, hobbies and backgrounds. The easiest way to choose wedding themes is from your hobbies – choosing your favorite sport, like golf or soccer, often ends up as a popular theme or your favorite leisure activities, like music or dancing.

Another popular theme wedding is one that is based on your careers. If both you and your spouse are in the financial sector, using a Money theme can be suitable while a Lounge theme is appropriate for couples who are in the media or entertainment industries. Otherwise, go totally different and have a theme wedding that has absolutely nothing to do with your careers.

If it is too difficult to merge two different careers, then pick a common interest – a love for cars, for instance, or a compulsion to travel.

The important thing is choosing wedding themes is that the themes must be meaningful to you. Theme weddings, after all, are an extension of the bridal couple’s lives.

3636579686 5b499eda8a m Continue the Color Theme for Your Wedding With Your Wedding Invitations

Besides choosing the location or destination of a bride and groom’s special day, the choice of color theme the wedding is one of the biggest decisions that the couple will make. For some couples this choice is very personal, while others choose a color theme based on the season, or to coordinate with the wedding venue. Regardless of how you come to a decision on what colors your wedding will include, make sure that you like them, because you will see them everywhere by the time you are married.

Considering the amount of details in planning a wedding, it is important to think carefully about what colors you want to use. In the midst of finalizing the guest list, choosing a tuxedo or wedding gown and choosing a location, a color theme for the wedding must be decided upon as well. While bright or bold colors may be your first choice, they may look garish if your wedding is taking place in a small church. Washed out pastels may seem romantic, but if your wedding is outdoors in the middle of a sunny afternoon, the colors may seem to disappear. While you should definitely choose colors that you love, think of how they will look on your wedding day.

Personalize the details

Everyone expects the bridesmaids’ dresses and the flowers to reflect the color theme of your wedding, but what about the invitations? Extending the color theme to the invitations can be a subtle way to personalize the occasion. Wedding invitations are customized by font and card design. Some couples choose to add a photograph as well. Integrating the color theme of the wedding is another way to personalize your wedding.

The color theme for your wedding can be extended to the invitations in several ways. You can have the fonts and colors printed with one of your wedding colors. The cardstock can be one of the colors. If your invitations have any ribbon or other trim, such as inside the envelope, it can be the color or colors you have chosen for your theme. Due to the small size of the invitation, as opposed to flower arrangements or table decorations, it is important to consider how the colors will look together. It is easy to make the invitations look too busy or overwhelming if the colors contrast too much or they are too bold.

How much is too much?

There are some things to keep in mind when making the decision to extend your color theme to the invitations. By keeping these tips in mind, your invitations can be a great representation of you and your fiancé as a couple.

· Choose the color carefully. You want the invitation to be a beautiful expression of your love, so keep it simple. One color for fonts is usually sufficient, anything more is difficult to pull off and retain an elegant feel.

· Consider your cardstock. If one of your wedding colors is pale, such as cream, sea foam green or lavender, you may want to choose that color for your cardstock. If there are no pale colors in your wedding colors, you may want to veer away from your colors when choosing the cardstock. Choose a neutral card that will go well with your color theme. While a dark cardstock can have an impact, it is normally difficult to read invitations that were printed on darker colors.

· Ribbons and bows. Yes, they are a popular addition to invitations. Should they be the same color as your font, or another color? If you have chosen colors that coordinate well, you can have a different color ribbon and font. If you are unsure, using the same color is always a safe choice.

Many couples as themselves: Is it necessary to extend your wedding’s color theme into your wedding invitation? No, black fonts on ivory cardstock is still appropriate. If you want to extend your color theme to your invitations, however, you will not be the only bride and groom to do so. New technology, as well as the desire many of us have for personalized events, makes extending your color theme through the invitations a fun and very popular choice.

Unlike bridesmaid dresses, flowers, wedding favors and other wedding accruements, invitations are lasting memories, not only for you, but for all of your guests. For this reason alone, personalizing them with your choice of wedding colors is an excellent idea. By considering carefully how you apply each color, using the colors in moderation, and checking that the colors still allow you to easily read the invitation, you can be confident that your wedding invitation will be a keepsake for years to come.

When you are planning your wedding, something important that is often overlooked is the idea of wedding favors. Wedding favors are the small, usually inexpensive gifts that you place next to your guests’ plates. They are often small trinkets or tokens that you give to your guests to show your appreciation for them attending your special day. With the right wedding favors, each of your guests can leave your wedding thinking wonderfully about you and truly enjoying the memories of your wedding.

The very best wedding favors are those which are kept and treasured long after the wedding is over. Therefore, it is important to think about what your wedding favors should be and how you can use them to help you emphasize your theme.

First of all, you have two choices. You can find wedding favors that fit into your theme because of what they are, or you can use wedding favors that can work with any theme, except that they are tailored to your specific day. Both choices are easy for you to do, but both require some planning and set-up.

The first way that you can incorporate wedding favors into your theme is by finding something that is uniquely yours and unique to the theme that you have chosen. This might include using guitar picks if both of you are musicians and you have a musical theme, or packets of seeds if you both love the outdoors and want to have an outdoors theme to your wedding. Some other great ideas include vials of sand from the place where your beach wedding took place or candles if your theme revolves around the flame of love burning for eternity. These are all things that you can incorporate into your wedding theme, and there are ways for you to have wedding favors that fit into these themes quite nicely.

However, this is not the only choice that you have when it comes to your wedding favors. Sometimes, buying things that fit into your theme specifically may cost you more money and it may be more difficult to do than other things. Therefore, something that you might want to consider is to choose wedding favors that fit into any wedding theme, but tailor them specifically to your own wedding.

The easiest of all of these choices would be to use candy as your wedding favor. Many people use small amounts of candy or nuts, and tie them into small sachets. You can use ribbon that matches your wedding theme colors, and then put a small sachet of candy or nuts at each place. These are great favors, and they are inexpensive, and often do not take much time at all. In addition, another idea is to use something cute, like coins for prosperity, or small stones that people can keep forever. Small trinkets like this are often the best way for you to show your guests how much you appreciate them, and how glad you are that they are at the wedding.

Many people like to use small trinkets of appreciation as their wedding favors, and these are things that can be used for any wedding, and can be incorporated into any theme. These include candy, favors like small toys, or even small plants or packets of seeds. All of these things are easy to incorporate into your theme. You can customize the colors that are used for ribbons and wrapping, so that the colors fit into your overall wedding colors. You can also include a small card with the item, which has some information from you. Often couples like to use this as a chance to say thank you and they include a small card that goes along with their wedding favors.

The card is usually used to thank those who attended the ceremony. You can also include a phrase that provides some wisdom or advice. A quote that the couple finds unique or interesting is also a good choice. By including a card with your wedding favors, you are incorporating something that you can make uniquely yours and it can help your guests remember the wedding.

Your wedding favors are only a small thing for you to think about while you are planning your wedding, and often this is something that you may think about last, or towards the end of your planning. Typical wedding favors consist of something simple depending on the theme of the wedding. Being creative helps create memories of the event because your gift can be something that one may not expect to receive. Therefore, remember that it does not have to be something very big or very fancy. It can be a small token, simply something that your guests can use to remember you and to remember the day that you got married.

– Put some fun elements in your ceremony to make your wedding memorable. Check out our Beach Wedding Theme Collection. Beach wedding accessories also make the perfect shower gift….

A popular wedding trend is to hold a destination event where all of the event’s guests travel to a fabulous destination to celebrate together for the couple’s happy day. Destination weddings often take more planning and coordination than traditional weddings, simply because many people will have to coordinate their schedules in order to travel to the ceremony. This can make choosing the appropriate wedding invitations more difficult as well. By planning early, you can find the perfect wedding invitations to use for your big event that perfectly match your theme.

The first thing to consider when choosing a wedding invitation for a destination wedding is how you plan to incorporate the theme into the invitation design. Some couples look at the destination where their wedding will be held and choose invitations that use images associated with that area. For instance, if your destination is a tropical location, you may choose to use summery or beach-style images and colors on your wedding invitations.

If your wedding is at a resort that is well known for being in a certain area or having a certain focus, it can also be very appropriate to use images associated with that area to make your wedding invitations perfect. Consider the time of year that you wedding is taking place as well because this can help to influence the design decisions that you make when choosing your wedding invitations.

A second consideration when choosing wedding invitations for destination weddings is the necessary information that should be provided within your invitation. Traditional wedding invitations actually contain very little information. The most important information on a traditional invitation is the date, time and location. Although this information is also important for a destination wedding, more should be included.

The information that needs to be included on a destination wedding invitation includes; travel transportation suggestions, information for accommodations at the location, and suggested dates of travel in order to coordinate the dates and times when guests arrive at the destination. If discounts are being given by the destination, you should inform your guests about that. Your wedding invitation should inform your guests about every logistical detail of the event that could affect their travel and attendance.

One way to incorporate all of this information on a simple invitation may be to choose a double-sided design. A double-sided design allows you can to include the basic information on the front of the card, and then the travel details on the back of the card. Be sure to proofread your invitations because it is important to include all necessary information and this gives you enough time to make corrections if they are needed.

An important third consideration when choosing wedding invitations for a destination wedding is to include extra stationery if you are planning a secondary reception in your hometown after returning from your wedding. Many couples who have destination weddings choose to have a separate reception when they get home so that they can spend time and celebrate with the loved ones who were unable to attend the actual ceremony. You should include an extra invitation if you have planned such an event so that all of your guests are informed about an alternative or additional event that they can attend.

Finally, you need to remember that with a destination wedding, you should send out your wedding invitations considerably earlier than if all of your guests were located near the big event. Generally, you should allow three to four months for your guests to be able to plan their travel to attend your destination wedding. They may need to secure that time off from their jobs, plan their air travel, save money for the cost of staying at the wedding destination and prepare any other plans necessary for the trip. The more time you can provide for your guests, the more likely they can attend your ceremony.

Wedding invitations for destination weddings can be more complicated than traditional wedding events. With careful consideration and thought, you can find the perfect invitations to use and put them together to include all of the information you need to share with your guests. With your forethought and planning, you can be well prepared to celebrate your wedding day with your friends and family. A destination wedding is in excellent choice because it is beneficial to everybody attending. Your guests are able to enjoy the experience while having a vacation at a new location. A destination wedding may take much longer to plan and your guests should be given ample time to work the date into their schedules. When planning your invitations, it is a great idea to incorporate images of the location as this allows your guests to get a sense of what to expect upon arrival at the location.
